We are officially moved into the house! After a long week of packing, loading, unloading and unpacking EVERY night we managed to clear our apartment of all the little stuff by the time the weekend rolled around! We spend Saturday hauling up all the BIG stuff with the assistance of our amazingly helpful families! :) Between both our Dads' trucks we moved the beds, couches, table, chairs, dressers and entertainment center over to the house in a few quick trips. They men even got our new washer and dryer hooked up, fished our cable through the wall and mounted the TV. I'll have to admit I wasn't much help with all the heavy lifting but I had good company because Joe & Chana came to visit, too! Marley kept us girls entertained for the afternoon and it was fun to have so much family at our house for the day. =)
Although we had plenty to do at home, we took a road trip to Des Moines on Sunday and went to the Big Country Bash! We got a great deal on tickets a couple months back so decided to make it work and put off the unpacking for the day. The weather was great - but the all the rain we've had made for an insanely muddy concert!!! Check this out....
We're still cleaning off our feet/boots.... but it was fun to hang out with some friends, especially my cousin Alex!
