We decided it's probably time to take things up a notch and kick off our very own blog...this is our attempt to keep our wonderful friends and all our family in the loop as we continue building our life together in Cedar Falls (well... soon to be Waterloo). We hope you enjoy our posts, but don't let this be an excuse not to call or visit us!! =)
As most of you know, we're keeping extra busy these days as we tackle two MAJOR tasks... buying our first home & planning our wedding. Kurt popped the big question on March 10th and we quickly realized that apartment life wasn't going to cut it for another year! We began an intense house-hunt and are now in the final stages of purchasing our first home on the west side of Waterloo. We're counting down the days until we can enjoy our very own backyard, patio and garage (for Kurt!), WooHoo!!
Of course, there is plenty of adventure involved when it comes to wedding planning as well ...and we are (or should I say "I am"?) enjoying every minute of it! Planning events is a hobby of mine, not to mention a career, so I will be in heaven for the next year! Yep, you read right... YEAR. We've set the date for June 25, 2011 and will be celebrating with family & friends back in WL. Stay tuned for details, I'm sure this topic will be featured in many blogs to come.
Long story short...our life is currently one big, exciting, rewarding, sometimes stressful but always FUN, adventure. We hope you enjoy our blog!
